I just realized that we should make sure to choose a color that looks good on all different screens and mediums, since we are going to be putting it on our website, and the people on our website seemed Al going to have the same screen.
We can pick a color that looks good, but it just won't be consistent unless it's black and white....even then there is the whole tone thing. I think we should pick out colors you all like and not worry too much about other people's screens. As long as the group as a whole is happy our colors will be great.

1,Medium,Arm,String on the arm can be cut by the washers holding it in place.,Bring extra string to the competition.
We should have a PID system to correct for attitude drift strafing, so that if the robot turns left a bit when you strafe it tries to rotate itself right to correct it.
I already sent this to your parents, but in case they didn't see it I wanted to make sure you guys saw it. My 10 day quarantine is up tomorrow and I won't be at the meeting, but I still don't know how people feel. Pete said he is willing to have FTC at his house tomorrow. He is also okay with Jeff and Z being masked and being in person at their place. Please let us know what your thoughts are about meeting tomorrow. If you need Alex's address he can give it to you. Just let him know if you are going to be there or not. Thanks

I'm waiting to hear from a definitive answer from the board of health about rules for selling baked goods. The winter market is happening this Sunday but we won't be ready. It meets every other weekend so the will have to talk about what we want to do tomorrow.
@everyone I heard back from the printer and and they weren't sure how our pink would look on the black ( the black may be too dark), so it looks like we are going to have white t shirts with pink writing on them.
FTC 2022-2023 Robot Re-build Patch Notes A full disassembly of the robot to replace worn and out-of-date parts with brand new hotness Added washers on the bolts holding the motor mounts to the motor mount adapters, preventing warping of the aluminum channel. Several types of washers were tried,...
I think I have my building section done. It is currently 6 pages long, so we will probably need to trim things down. Our document can only be 16 pages long (because of the title page) right?
@everyone I am going to make the driving teams tonight. Please let me know if you want to drive, arm or human player. Or if you don't want to do any of the 3.
Just heard back from Andrew, he accepted our request to volunteer at the NERD Summit, he is looking for refs, programming and building assistants at the nerd summit on Sunday the 19th
Yes, I think it would be a good outreach/volunteer opportunity for us. Max and Zach are volunteering for the morning session.
12:15 PM
The NERD summit is a 3 day conference at UMass. On Sunday Andrew is hosting a sumobot tournament and Z offered the team up to volunteer. Your parents all have an email about the event
@everyone I got this from the science fair coordinator. "Hello Fred and Susan!
I am just getting this; my apologies!
5:30 will be plenty of time! 5:45 is fine too. I will be in the cafeteria to meet you all. I think the turnout will be very small unfortunately, but we will be a rapt audience. "
@True Overclocker just wanted to announce this for the people who weren't here today, but we have collectively decided on changing our team colors to neon green
My parents are fine with whatever time, 5:30-8 or 5-7:30 they don’t care, majority rules on what time we go until. I can’t do 5-8 because I have a test, so it’s one or the other
We are looking at the different ways we can organize our tasks. Have not yet picked the product or method to organize the tasks. Will figure this out by Saturday is the plan.
task management option: https://overclockedftc.com/collab/ login:Test pw:HappyClog12 (case sensitive) this is an admin account, so you have access to edit pretty much everything. I've added a few fake tasks so you can see what those look like.
Username is Overclocked22059 and when I made the account, I didn't input a password, it just let me sign up using the Instagram so I think the pass is the same as the insta
Possible issue with the mega-field idea:
The field construction guide says that cutting the tabs off the outside tiles is a critical mandatory step, so people might not have fields that can connect to each other
@everyone We need everything printed and assembled for the scrimmage by the end of monday. If you need something 3d printed, we need it tomorrow before school. This is becuase I need to program it.
idk how alex wanted to connect it to a robot (I think he wanted an arm?)
10:38 AM
@Alex is it possible for you to make any adjustments needed to the intake? I'm not sure exactly what you wanted to do(edited)
Zach

I do not have an intake or pixel placer model to use for the scrimmage, if you do have one send it before you go to school or we will not be able to have it for the scrimmage.(edited)
@Alex I will be on the ground soon (not in Bradley, I still have another flight to get back home). Could we meet on VC1 in about 20 minutes so I can see how you all are doing?
The arm and intake worked. However, the outputted did not
8:13 PM
We tried to troubleshoot the outputted but nothing seemed broken. Suddenly the intake motor stopped working (I am pretty confident in saying it is dead).
8:13 PM
I still have no idea what killed it, I am investigating the outputter motor now
The portfolio should be done by the end of class on monday, so my mom can print it, and the presentation should be done by the night before competition
